Director of Environmental Impact Assessments WSP

In this senior director role, you will spearhead Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for various infrastructure projects. With 15+ years of experience, you’ll leverage your knowledge of Ontario’s regulations to deliver high-quality, innovative assessments. You will mentor staff, engage stakeholders, and develop critical environmental roadmap strategies to advance your projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and guide EIAs for energy and infrastructure projects
• Create environmental permit plans and compliance strategies
• Conduct strategic reviews for technical leadership in EIAs
• Build relationships with regulators, clients, and the public
• Identify opportunities to support business development initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree related to environmental studies
• 15+ years' experience in managing EIAs and regulatory processes
• Ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary project teams
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management
• Proven experience in business development and proposal management
Lead WSP’s initiatives in environmental sustainability and stakeholder engagement as the Technical Director.
