Join Stantec's Ontario Environmental Services team as an Intermediate CAD Technician specialized in water resources. Drive impactful water management projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D while collaborating with leading environmental professionals.
This full-time role involves preparing CAD drawings and design packages for various water management projects. You will interpret engineering markups while developing essential deliverables like grading plans and sediment control drawings. With a focus on collaboration, you will be an integral part of the Water Resources Technical Team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare CAD drawings for water resources projects
• Interpret engineering sketches into accurate deliverables
• Develop surfaces, profiles, and cross-section drawings
• Prepare grading and erosion control plans
• Support projects in channel works and shoreline protection
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
• 5 years of AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
• Familiarity with water management projects
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• ArcGIS experience is an asset
