Join Telesat as a Systems Engineer and lead the charge in requirements management for innovative satellite systems.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring clarity and alignment across engineering teams.
As part of the Systems Engineering team, you will focus on managing requirements and change requests while collaborating with various stakeholders. Your technical judgment will aid in developing strategic solutions to technical challenges and maintaining compliance across specs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop system requirements based on mission needs
• Oversee execution of requirement change requests
• Recommend updates to address gaps in requirements
• Ensure cross-team alignment on specifications
• Provide management updates on requirement status and compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in systems or related engineering field
• 5+ years relevant systems engineering experience
• Familiarity with JAMA or DOORS for requirements management
• Insight into space or defense engineering processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
