In this full-time, on-site position, you will be responsible for the entire optomechanical design process, ensuring systems meet stringent environmental and operational standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine components, from precision mounts to packaging, all tailored for mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design mounts, lens housings, and beam path structures
• Assess design compliance with environmental qualifications
• Support optical assembly with alignment tooling and jigs
• Perform tolerance analysis and ensure alignment budgets
• Collaborate across optics, firmware, and systems teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Minimum 4 years' mechanical design experience, with 2 years in optomechanics
• Strong CAD skills;
Solid Works preferred
• Familiarity with thermal management and manufacturing processes
• Proven optomechanical design expertise with precision components
