Position: Senior Application Security Engineer at ANVIL
Elevate ANVIL's security measures as a Senior Application Security Engineer in a full-time remote role. Drive security throughout the software lifecycle and safeguard vital national security applications.

As a Senior Application Security Engineer for ANVIL, you will report directly to the Director of Security Engineering, contributing to the development of a robust application security program. Your expertise in threat modeling, penetration testing, and secure deployment will be crucial, as ANVIL's solutions operate in classified environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security practices into every phase of development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and mature ANVIL's application security program

• Conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling sessions

• Perform penetration testing on applications and infrastructure

• Advise on secure coding practices and CI/CD integration

• Mentor team members in security best practices

Requirements:

• 7+ years in application security or security engineering

• 3+ years in threat modeling methodologies

• Experience embedding security in CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of pen testing for secured environments

• Eligible for Government of Canada security clearance
