In this role, you will actively participate in a range of ship design projects, from concept to detailed design. Key tasks will include preparing arrangement and statutory plans, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring compliance with international regulations. Your proactive contributions will help enhance the engineering processes of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create General Arrangement and detail design drawings

• Develop statutory plans including safety and hazardous zone layouts

• Design compartment and deck equipment arrangements

• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams

• Complete projects on schedule and within budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or a related field

• 0-5 years’ experience in marine design required

• Proficient in engineering software like AutoCAD and Rhino

• Knowledge of International Conventions an asset

• Familiarity with classification society rules beneficial
