Senior Optomechanical Engineer

This full-time, on-site role focuses on the mechanical and optomechanical aspects of complex quantum systems. Collaborate with various engineering teams to develop designs that ensure alignment stability and thermal efficiency while meeting rigorous environmental standards. You'll transition designs from prototype to practical use.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create optomechanical designs ensuring sub-micron alignment
• Conduct thermal and vibration assessments on assemblies
• Produce detailed CAD models for multi-disciplinary systems
• Oversee manufacturing readiness and coordinate with machinists
• Develop alignment fixtures and jigs for assembly processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Mechanical or related engineering field
• 4+ years of mechanical design experience; 2 years in optomechanics
• Expertise in Solid Works or similar CAD software
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Experience in complex manufacturing environments
