Construction Inspector - Infrastructure
Job Description
Parsons is hiring Inspectors to work on urban infrastructure projects. The role involves performing inspection tasks, monitoring quality control procedures, documenting nonconformance, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Willingness to travel and/or relocate to field sites is expected.

Responsibilities- Carry out inspection activities to ensure conformance.
- Conduct site surveys, obtaining relevant information, equipment, and materials.
- Search for physical survey evidence (building ties, monuments, fences, etc.) and determine whether existing survey evidence suffices.
- Obtain additional survey evidence as necessary and determine when enough information has been obtained.
- Analyze situations or data using standard procedure and practice to obtain answers.
- Assist in compiling field data in report form for review by project designer.
- High school diploma, post‑secondary degree or diploma in civil engineering or related field experience.
- Designation as determined by OACETT as a Road Construction Senior Inspector (rcsi) Technology/Technician or currently as an engineering university/college student, considered a strong asset.
- Previous engineering/construction experience is required.
- Prior experience working on municipal or MTO projects is required.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer‑in‑Training with PEO as a Technician or Technologist with O.A.C.E.T.T. is considered a strong asset.
- Able to work on weekends and nights, as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
Salary Range: $32.64 - $56.68 per hour.
This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
