The Optical Solutions Business Unit at Molex is searching for a skilled Senior Si Photonics Design Engineer. You will play a vital role in the design, implementation, and validation of advanced photonic components and circuits. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional global teams, ensuring innovative solutions for next-generation photonic technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design SiPho components using tools like Lumerical and COMSOL
• Develop experiments and analyze EVT/DVT test data
• Collaborate with external foundries for innovative photonic solutions
• Work with layout teams for GDS layout development
• Partner with packaging teams for reliable PIC integration
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in photonic design
• Familiarity with optoelectronic devices
• Experience with CMOS processes and design tools
• Strong analytical skills for test data analysis
