The Canadian Coast Guard's Aircraft Services Directorate is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Team Leader. This EL-07 position requires expertise in planning and supervising maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to airworthiness standards, and providing technical support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities while managing team performance and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor avionics technicians in maintenance tasks
• Plan and oversee avionics installation and repair activities
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness and safety regulations
• Provide technical expertise for complex avionics systems
• Monitor maintenance quality and safety standards
Requirements:
• Post-secondary training in avionics maintenance
• Valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, Category E
• Significant experience with avionics for fixed and rotary wing aircraft
• Minimum six months in a leadership role in avionics
• Bilingual in English and French required
