Located in Kanata, Ontario, Robotics Centre is an advanced technology company focused on domestic manufacturing of defence-oriented unmanned aerial systems. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive mechanical design efforts for aerial robotics systems. Ideal candidates will have extensive mechanical engineering experience, particularly with UAVs and advanced manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design of drone airframes and structural components

• Develop lightweight, high-strength mechanical designs

• Create detailed CAD models for production builds

• Perform structural and thermal analyses to validate designs

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and guide design reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 8+ years of experience in UAVs or related fields

• Proficient in 3D CAD tools like Solidworks

• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes

• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing
