Mechanical Design Specialist in HVAC

This position focuses on delivering innovative mechanical designs which include HVAC, plumbing, and related systems in commercial and institutional buildings.

You'll work with cutting-edge tools such as AutoCAD and Revit, handling all aspects of design from calculations to detailed schematics. As part of the project team, your contributions will help ensure delivery quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed designs and production drawings for systems

• Conduct necessary load calculations for projects

• Collaborate with project teams and managers effectively

• Review shop drawings to verify adherence to standards

• Manage general office duties related to design projects

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design (HVAC focused)

• EIT or CET designation advantageous

• Knowledge of necessary codes and standards

• Ability to manage time well and communicate effectively
