Take on a pivotal role as a Water/Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer with GFT, utilizing a hybrid model from Toronto, Mississauga, or Ottawa. Drive innovative solutions in water resource management.
This full-time position at GFT focuses on expanding our water team, specializing in the design of municipal servicing projects and water treatment systems. You will ensure compliance with regulations, engage with stakeholders, and support junior engineers. This role is key in enhancing public health through effective water management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals
• Prepare and manage engineering and contract documents
• Oversee project budgets, scheduling, and staffing
• Conduct quality assurance and mentor junior staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• P.Eng. licensure with P.E.O.
• Minimum 4 years of water infrastructure experience
• Experience with Ontario’s regulatory framework preferred
• Strong advocacy for innovation and sustainability
