Position: Lead Civil Engineer for Sustainable Water Solutions
Join Stantec’s innovative Water team as a Lead Civil Engineer in Ottawa (hybrid), driving projects that enhance urban water infrastructure and mentor emerging engineers.

As a pivotal member of our team, you will lead complex civil engineering projects, guiding teams to ensure delivery on budget and schedule.

Your role will also focus on mentoring junior engineers while coordinating with clients and other professionals to advance the management of water infrastructure. Your contributions will shape the future of local communities through sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee design and engineering tasks as Project Lead

• Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills

• Ensure high-quality project deliverables through QA processes

• Manage project budgets and financial performance

• Facilitate project coordination meetings with stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent

• At least 10 years of engineering experience

• Ontario Engineer licensure required

• Deep understanding of civil engineering methods and materials

• Experienced in project management and client relations
