Join an innovative stealth-mode startup as a Silicon Validation and Characterization Engineer, focusing on analog AI chip architectures. This hybrid role involves lab work to ensure device functionality and performance.
As part of a well-funded team working with state-of-the-art AI semiconductor technology, you’ll validate chip designs and enhance test setups for efficient high-quality production. Your work will directly influence device outputs through rigorous characterization experiments and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and bring up new silicon in lab conditions
• Validate chip performance and mixed-signal characteristics
• Execute transistor-level characterization experiments
• Measure and analyze power and latency data
• Debug and resolve silicon functionality issues
Requirements:
• Experience with ASIC or post-silicon verification
• Solid foundation in mixed-signal and analog electronics
• Hands-on skills with lab equipment: signal generators, power analyzers
• Proficient in Python and/or MATLAB for scripting
• Previous exposure to silicon bring-up and yield analysis
