Join CHEO’s team in Ottawa as the Manager for Electrical Systems Compliance. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and compliance of crucial electrical and communication systems through leadership and expertise.
You will report to the Chief Capital Planning and Development Officer and be responsible for planning and maintaining CHEO’s electrical infrastructure. Your background in electrical engineering and team management will ensure operational efficiency and safety across various systems. By collaborating with teams in facilities operations and capital project management, you will play a key role in confirming system performance and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain compliance of electrical and communication systems
• Plan preventative maintenance and manage troubleshooting responses
• Advise on technical aspects for systems integration projects
• Oversee asset data management and reporting initiatives
• Lead vendor performance and management processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in electrical systems, with leadership experience
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
