As part of your responsibilities, you'll engage deeply in optical, optomechanical, and moving mechanism testing, utilizing your experience in creating test campaigns and operational efficiency. This position requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with various engineering teams to ensure high-performance instrument delivery in a scientifically rigorous environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and execute test strategies for optical subsystems
• Conduct performance and thermal-vacuum testing on instruments
• Champion improvements in testing methodologies
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts for project success
• Document results and generate comprehensive test reports
Requirements:
• Educational background in engineering (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.)
• 3+ years working with imaging systems
• Proficient in one or more programming languages like Python
• Familiarity with precision optical metrology
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
