In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and integration of hardware for nuclear-powered space systems, including defining requirements and managing the entire lifecycle of your projects. You'll collaborate closely with teams to refine critical designs and ensure that your contributions align with mission goals. Your expertise in CAD and project management will be essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead subsystem ownership within space nuclear architecture
• Facilitate cross-discipline trade studies and design alignment
• Create detailed CAD drawings and manage configurations
• Coordinate integration and testing efforts
• Define manufacturing processes and work instructions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 3+ years in mechanical design for space products
• Proficient in CAD software and PLM systems
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
