Senior Engineer in Water Infrastructure Design

Stantec is looking for a Senior Engineer specializing in Water Infrastructure Design in Ottawa, Ontario (hybrid). Lead impactful projects to enhance community water management and infrastructure.

In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to guide the execution of diverse engineering projects while providing critical mentorship to junior staff. Your leadership will help develop innovative solutions that address pressing water management challenges in communities across Canada. Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals focused on sustainable and effective engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex infrastructure projects and technical design

• Mentor junior staff and oversee their daily activities

• Deliver project management expertise and client communication

• Develop work plans, schedules, and budgets

• Conduct quality control on project documentation and deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience

• Professional Engineer licensed in Ontario

• Proficient in civil engineering software like AutoCAD

• Strong knowledge of municipal and provincial design standards
