Position: Ottawa-Based Intermediate Civil Engineer

The vibrant Stantec Ottawa office is searching for a talented Intermediate Civil Engineer to support community infrastructure endeavors in Nunavut. This role involves planning and executing projects in collaboration with diverse teams, emphasizing community engagement and constructive stakeholder relationships. You will also mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance while ensuring that project deliverables are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design community infrastructure projects, including drainage and roads

• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical documentation

• Collaborate with engineers and planners on project tasks

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources

• Facilitate community meetings and contractor coordination

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• Eligibility for registration with NAPEG

• 5+ years experience in civil/municipal engineering

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Valid driver's license required
