Position: Lead Senior Water Resources Engineer Role
Make a significant impact in water resource engineering as a Senior Engineer at Stantec in Ottawa, Ontario. Focus on critical projects in stormwater management and climate adaptation strategies.
This position requires someone ready to take on a leadership role by delivering complex engineering solutions for water resources across Canada. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals while mentoring junior engineers and driving projects from initial analysis through to successful implementation, utilizing innovative technologies along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead water resources project assignments including planning and design

• Guide stormwater management efforts in diverse projects

• Develop detailed work plans and manage project budgets

• Conduct technical reviews for modeling and hydraulic analyses

• Mentor and support junior and intermediate engineering staff
Requirements:

• P.Eng. designation or in process

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields

• 7+ years of relevant experience in the field

• Proficiency in hydrologic modeling software and analytics

• Strong understanding of regulatory standards in Ontario
