Hydrogeologist (Senior Member, Groundwater Team)

Position OverviewLeading technical, project, and client leadership across a broad range of assignments including complex infrastructure and municipal projects.
Responsibilities- Partnering with clients to understand their needs and deliver practical, value‑driven solutions.
- Leading and shaping scopes of work for public and private clients on small‑to‑large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Managing and executing hydrogeological studies such as groundwater resource development, construction dewatering programmes, pump test design, geothermal system assessments, sewer discharge agreements, and Permit to Take Water (PTTW) applications.
- Project management and coordination of site investigation and compliance programmes.
- Budget oversight, cost control, and invoicing.
- Coordinating and supervising field programmes.
- Reviewing and guiding the technical work of junior and intermediate staff.
- Preparing and reviewing high‑quality technical reports.
- Supporting proposal development and contributing to business growth.
- University degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an asset).
- 10+ years of experience in physical hydrogeology.
- Strong field‑based experience in groundwater supply, hydrogeological investigations, and assessments.
- Professional designation in Ontario (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) preferred.
- Experience with ESA, excess soil or geo, and the ability to speak French considered assets.
- Experience with groundwater modelling is an asset.
- Proven success developing client relationships and contributing to winning proposals.
- Hands‑on experience working with MECP, municipalities, and Conservation Authorities.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects from planning through delivery.
- Strong business acumen and a practical, solution‑focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing junior staff.

Salary RangeBase salary range: $92,043 to $122,010. Compensation packages are based on factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
