Hydrogeologist (Senior Member, Groundwater Team)

Leading technical, project, and client leadership across a broad range of assignments including complex infrastructure and municipal projects.

• Partnering with clients to understand their needs and deliver practical, value‑driven solutions.
• Leading and shaping scopes of work for public and private clients on small‑to‑large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Managing and executing hydrogeological studies such as groundwater resource development, construction dewatering programmes, pump test design, geothermal system assessments, sewer discharge agreements, and Permit to Take Water (PTTW) applications.
• Project management and coordination of site investigation and compliance programmes.
• Budget oversight, cost control, and invoicing.
• Coordinating and supervising field programmes.
• Reviewing and guiding the technical work of junior and intermediate staff.
• Preparing and reviewing high‑quality technical reports.
• Supporting proposal development and contributing to business growth.

• University degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an asset).
• 10+ years of experience in physical hydrogeology.
• Strong field‑based experience in groundwater supply, hydrogeological investigations, and assessments.
• Professional designation in Ontario (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) preferred.
• Experience with ESA, excess soil or geo, and the ability to speak French considered assets.
• Experience with groundwater modelling is an asset.
• Proven success developing client relationships and contributing to winning proposals.
• Hands‑on experience working with MECP, municipalities, and Conservation Authorities.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects from planning through delivery.
• Strong business acumen and a practical, solution‑focused mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing junior staff.
• Comfortable operating in a high‑demand, fast‑paced environment.

Base salary range: $92,043 to $122,010. Compensation packages are based on factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
