Aversan Inc. seeks a Senior Hardware Compliance Engineer to play a pivotal role in its aerospace engineering team. The successful candidate will analyze compliance requirements and risks, establish lab capabilities, and optimize product designs for EMI/EMC performance. Collaborating closely with design teams will be crucial for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in design efforts to meet EMI/EMC requirements

• Analyze specifications, ensuring compliance ahead of testing

• Develop internal lab capabilities to reduce design risk

• Coordinate formal compliance testing at external labs

• Summarize test results through thorough reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar

• Strong background in hardware compliance and EMI/EMC testing

• Knowledge of relevant standards including MIL-STD-461 and DO-160

• Experience with laboratory measuring equipment

• Understanding of EMI cable design principles
