Our client is a well-established and growing residential developer with an active pipeline of land development projects across the Ottawa region. With a strong track record of deliveringmunities from concept through topletion, they are looking to add a Land Development Coordinator to support continued growth.
Your new role
As Land Development Coordinator, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of land development projects from acquisition through to construction. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and municipal authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and inpliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:Coordinating development applications (OPA, Zoning, Draft Plan of Subdivision,mittee of Adjustment, Condominium)Managing submissions, approvals, agreements, and registrationsLiaising with consultants, municipalities, and internal teams to maintain project timelinesReviewing planning, engineering, legal, and financial documents to identify risks and opportunitiesSupporting site planning, product design, and development strategyCoordinating engineering design, servicing, utilities, and landscapingAssisting Sales & Marketing and Construction teams with project launches and startsSupporting builder coordination through assumption, deficiencies, andpletion obligationsContributing to land acquisition due diligence, site analysis, and feasibilityPreparing reports, meeting minutes, and project documentationWhat you'll need to succeed
2+ years of experience in land development, urban planning, or project coordinationDiploma or degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or related disciplineStrong understanding of Ontario land use planning, permitting processes, and approvalsAbility to review technical drawings and consultant reportsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Effectivemunication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office and project coordination toolsWhat you'll get in return
