Egis is expanding its bridge team and seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer to provide superior design and technical leadership. This role requires a minimum of 15 years’ experience with steel and concrete bridge structures for MTO and municipalities in Ontario. You will lead projects from concept to construction, ensuring compliance with industry standards while fostering collaboration with various engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering design for rehabilitation and new bridge projects
• Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and project teams effectively
• Review and check technical reports and design specifications
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license required
• Minimum 15 years of relevant design experience
• Proficiency in structural analysis software like Midas and CSi Bridge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
