As a Senior Mechanical Engineering Consultant, you will directly support the development of advanced hardware and optical communication products. Your responsibilities include mechanical design, supplier collaboration, and conducting airflow simulations to optimize system performance. You will also interact with diverse engineering teams to ensure high-quality standards throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review PCB layouts for potential mechanical interferences

• Perform thermal and airflow simulations for optimization

• Develop fabrication drawings for metal enclosures

• Collaborate with suppliers on DFM and DFA strategies

• Participate in design reviews and engineering meetings

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering

• Proficiency in tolerance stack-up analysis techniques

• Ability to optimize designs based on DFM and DFA

• Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams

• Experience with PCB mechanical interface files
