Sensor Modeling Engineer

Take the lead as a Sensor Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Dominion Dynamics in Ottawa or Toronto. Contribute to building advanced RF, radar, and electronic warfare models crucial for next-gen autonomous systems.

As a critical member of the simulation team, you will own the end-to-end development of sensor and electronic warfare models tailored for long-range operations. This high-autonomy role requires expertise in multi-sensor fusion, real-time simulation, and modeling across various sensor technologies. You will significantly impact Canada's defense capabilities while working with cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and tune RF and radar models for air-centric operations

• Develop electronic warfare models, including jamming and deception

• Lead multi-sensor fusion to create comprehensive situational awareness

• Model sensor physics across various platforms and fidelities

• Implement efficient simulations in Rust and/or C++ for real-time applications

Requirements:

• 4+ years systems programming experience in C++ or Rust

• Strong understanding of sensor physics and modeling techniques

• Deep knowledge in RF/radar modeling and electronic warfare

• Motivation to enhance sovereignty in Canadian defense

• Comfortable working with complex mathematical underpinnings
