Position: Project Planner for Thales
Shape the future of engineering projects as a Project Planner with Thales in Ottawa, Ontario. This hybrid role focuses on detailed scheduling and planning of engineering changes across major naval programs.

As a P-6 Project Planner/Scheduler, you will be integral to the PMO team, required to develop and manage integrated schedules for the Arctic Offshore Patrol Ships and Joint Support Ships programs. This role demands close collaboration with engineering and project leadership, ensuring project milestones are met with precision and quality. You will be responsible for effective change control and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop integrated project schedules for engineering changes

• Facilitate planning workshops with project stakeholders

• Perform quality checks on schedule integrity

• Track progress and analyze impacts on timelines

• Support business delivery through timely updates

Requirements:

• 4+ years in planning, preferably in engineering

• Strong user of Primavera P6

• Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis

• Advanced MS Excel skills required

• Knowledge of Defense Sector beneficial
