CNSC is seeking a Technical Trainee to receive extensive training in both regulatory and technical domains. This entry-level position will involve reviewing technical documents, conducting research, and participating in inspections under guidance. You will also collaborate on divisional projects and gain insights from national and international meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review technical and regulatory information for assessments
• Conduct preliminary research and analyze results
• Observe and participate in inspections and evaluations
• Document findings for reports and updates
• Support divisional projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
• Degree in Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of nuclear safety, inspections, and engineering principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in MS 365 and digital literacy
• Understanding of project management principles
