Expert Engineer for Transmission Lines

Become an Expert Engineer for Transmission Lines and play a pivotal role in energy innovation. Solve complex design challenges in electric utility environments while embracing a flexible hybrid work schedule.
This position is designed for individuals with at least five years of dedicated experience in Transmission projects. You will spearhead the design of overhead lines and structures for various voltage levels while ensuring adherence to industry standards, producing thorough documentation, and providing engineering deliverables as a Professional of Record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design for overhead lines and associated facilities

• Perform structural analysis using Power Line Systems

• Draft technical documents and specifications

• Develop engineering work packages with estimates

• Address unusual design engineering problems independently
Requirements:

• University degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in Transmission engineering

• Proficient in PLS software and CAD tools

• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
