Environmental Officer for Alexandra Bridge Project

As an Environmental Officer, you will report to the Project Controls Lead and ensure all environmental mandates are met for this landmark infrastructure initiative. Your expertise in civil projects will be vital in leading monitoring efforts and providing senior advice on risks and compliance measures, while you collaborate with various project teams. This position emphasizes proactive environmental management and quality perpetuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and permits

• Provide senior technical advice on environmental risks

• Conduct regular site inspections and environmental monitoring

• Maintain environmental compliance records and reports

• Coordinate environmental sampling and monitoring programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field

• Minimum of 10 years in environmental roles on civil projects

• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations

• Experience with environmental inspections and monitoring programs

• Certified Environmental Professional designation preferred
