Transportation Planner in National Capital

As a Senior Planner, you will report to the Senior Manager of Transportation Planning. This role involves leading transportation studies, coordinating multi-jurisdictional initiatives, and providing strategic planning advice. You will engage with various federal and municipal partners to implement impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex transportation planning studies and projects

• Coordinate initiatives across federal, provincial, and municipal partners

• Develop strategic planning advice and reports for stakeholders

• Review transportation plans, policies, and related projects

• Analyze complex planning issues and evaluate alternatives

Requirements:

• Degree in urban/land use planning or related field

• Membership in a relevant professional planning institute

• Extensive experience in transportation planning

• Knowledge of planning frameworks and project management

• Bilingual proficiency and ability to manage deadlines
