In this role, you will oversee compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal regulations while leading the environmental team. Key responsibilities include negotiating permits, preparing reports, and implementing ISO 14001 certification. With a focus on environmental awareness, you will drive initiatives that promote sustainable practices and mitigate risks associated with environmental penalties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies for environmental compliance
• Lead and organize the environmental team at the plant
• Manage implementation of environmental policies
• Negotiate permits with government agencies
• Monitor compliance and oversee environmental programs
Requirements:
• University Degree in Engineering, Science or Environmental studies
• Five years of related experience in large manufacturing
• Three years as an Environmental Manager
• Experience in managing environmental compliance
• Ability to work in both office and field settings
