Position: Senior Environmental Planner at WSP
Shape Ontario's future as a Senior Environmental Planner with WSP. Focus on pivotal water infrastructure projects while leading environmental assessments in a hybrid work model.

WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Planner to oversee environmental assessments and approvals for critical water infrastructure projects. You will navigate complex permitting processes and deliver impactful outcomes for communities and stakeholders. In this role, you’ll mentor junior team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive environmental assessments and approval processes

• Deliver Municipal Class Environmental Assessments and Master Plans

• Direct multidisciplinary project teams for technical studies

• Create engagement programs with stakeholders and Indigenous Nations

• Advise clients on environmental planning and permitting strategies

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Studies, Science, or Planning

• 10+ years experience in environmental assessments

• Proven success with Municipal Class EAs

• Strong project management experience

• Established business development skills
