Position: LEO System Verification Engineering Role

As part of Telesat’s ambitious Lightspeed project, you will oversee critical verification processes for the satellite constellation. This role demands a collaborative spirit, working closely with the CSV, Space Segment, and operational teams. Your background in Aerospace or Satellite systems will be invaluable in transitioning from development to deployment while meeting stringent mission goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead support efforts in system readiness planning for deployment

• Develop verification plans for system acceptance testing

• Participate in hardware/software reviews and strategy maintenance

• Synchronize satellite deployment activities with segment teams

• Validate system performance through cross-functional team collaboration

Requirements:

• Degree in Satellite Systems, Aerospace, or related field

• 6–10 years in requirements-based verification for aerospace systems

• Strong skills in configuration control and systems engineering

• Project management experience is an asset

• Must obtain Canadian clearance to work in Canada
