As a Thermal Imaging Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing thermal imaging research within NRC’s Aerospace Research Centre. Your work will include evaluating sensor performance and extracting vital data for both defense and civilian uses. This role emphasizes collaboration in applied research while contributing impactful technical reports and publications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess thermal sensor quality and effectiveness
• Operate and configure thermal imaging systems
• Analyze and document thermal data findings
• Collaborate with teams to optimize imaging technology
• Contribute to autonomous flight innovation
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree related to Thermal Imaging
• Practical experience with airborne thermal campaigns
• Evaluating thermal sensor calibrations
• Experience in signal analysis for thermal data
• Familiarity with optical and atmospheric corrections
