Transportation Engineer - Roadway Design

At Stantec, you will leverage your expertise in transportation engineering to design safe and effective roadways. You’ll collaborate closely with other engineers and consultants, utilizing software like Open Roads to create innovative designs for various projects. This exciting role requires a motivated and organized individual eager to enhance their skills in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work on multi-disciplinary projects for diverse clients
• Create and review design drawings of highways and intersections
• Develop design sections and prepare accurate contract documents
• Coordinate with team members and agencies on projects
• Follow QA/QC processes for all design work
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in roadway design and transport engineering
• Technical diploma or degree in Civil Engineering
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and related software
• Strong analytical skills and creativity in problem-solving
• OACETT or related designation preferred
