Position: Engineer with Focus on RF and Antennas
Elevate wireless innovation as an RF and Antenna Engineer at Huawei Canada, located in Ottawa. Design cutting-edge antennas and streamline manufacturing processes for advanced applications.

As part of our Advanced Wireless Technology Lab, you will engage in designing and modelling antennas and RF circuits.

Your role will also encompass prototyping and optimizing designs through automation, leveraging scripts to improve workflows. Collaborating across disciplines, you'll ensure that antenna systems integrate seamlessly into product designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model and simulate RF circuits for consumer electronics

• Utilize advanced additive manufacturing techniques

• Automate design flows to enhance simulation efficiency

• Create and validate prototypes on in-house equipment

• Work with cross-disciplinary teams for design integration

Requirements:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science, or MS with relevant experience

• Minimum 3 years in RF/antenna design roles

• Solid knowledge of RF circuit layout concepts

• Expert in simulation tools like Ansys HFSS or CST Suite

• Coding skills in Python and MATLAB for automation tasks
