AECOM is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer with a robust background in rock mechanics and site reconnaissance. Candidates should bring expertise in geological mapping, excavation analysis, and computer-aided design tools such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex infrastructure projects while working with a diverse team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Senior Engineer with rock mechanics engineering projects
• Conduct geological mapping and site reconnaissance
• Develop geological models using AutoCAD and ArcGIS
• Perform excavation and slope stability analyses
• Prepare geotechnical reports and specifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Geological Engineering or related field
• Minimum 4 years in geotechnical design
• Proficiency with Roc Science Suite and AutoCAD
• Strong technical writing abilities
• Knowledge of rock slope stability and investigations
