CNL is seeking an Innovative R&D Scientist to lead projects and solve technical challenges in monitoring technologies. Your expertise in data analysis and sensor design will be critical to supporting nuclear infrastructure.
As a Research and Development Scientist/Engineer, you will spearhead projects focused on concrete and cementitious materials. The role involves applying experimental and analytical techniques while leading technical staff in safe laboratory operations. You’ll be working on cutting-edge technologies that address significant challenges in the field of nuclear science.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead R&D projects in non-destructive testing
• Conduct advanced analysis of concrete materials
• Design and operate specialized testing apparatus
• Supervise technical staff ensuring safety and efficiency
• Prepare technical proposals and progress reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
• 2-3 years relevant experience in government or private sectors
• NDT certification is preferred
• Proficiency in programming and data analysis tools
• Eligibility for security clearance required
