As a field-based Technical Service Specialist in Abbott's Core Lab Division, you will support vital healthcare decisions through instrumentation expertise.
Your role will involve performing emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations at customer sites. Build strong communication with the sales team while ensuring service excellence and operating procedures are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform emergency repair and preventative maintenance on instrumentation
• Install and update products at customer locations
• Document service calls and manage spare parts inventory
• Train customers on proper operation of devices
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for support
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Medical Technology
• 1 to 3 years of practical customer interface experience
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Ability to work independently
