Lead municipal water infrastructure projects at TYLin in Southern Ontario, applying professional engineering expertise, project management, and client communication skills.
As a Water Engineer on TYLin’s Water Sector team, you will manage varied municipal infrastructure projects. You will guide design teams, review engineering deliverables, and mentor intermediate colleagues. The work includes client relationships, approvals coordination, financial management, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and actively participate in municipal infrastructure projects
- Direct design teams throughout all project phases
- Review drawings and engineering reports
- Liaise with municipal, utility, and approval agencies
- Manage project finances, schedules, and client communications
- Professional Engineer designation
- Five to eight or more years designing municipal infrastructure
- Public Sector project experience in Southern Ontario and Canada
- Familiarity with local planning and approval processes
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
