AutoCAD and Civil 3D expertise support contract administration as a Civil CAD Technician preparing grading, quantities, and as-built information. Work independently in a field-based environment.
This Civil CAD Technician supports project managers and coordinators with civil construction and contract administration tasks. You will review grading, earthworks, contractor submissions, utility designs, and municipal requirements. The work helps coordinate subdivision and site plan development projects through completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide AutoCAD support for project managers and coordinators
- Prepare as-constructed and plan and profile drawings
- Verify earthwork, sewer, road, and retaining wall quantities
- Review contractor GPS as-builts for deficiencies
- Prepare Composite Utility Plans for development projects
- Graduate or licensed civil professional engineer, or certified engineering technologist
- Strong AutoCAD abilities and Civil 3D experience
- Experience in civil construction and contract administration
- Familiarity with municipal and provincial specifications
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and English communication skills
