Primavera P6 Project Planner Scheduler

Primavera P6 planning expertise supports Thales projects in Ottawa, Victoria, or Halifax through a hybrid schedule and integrated delivery.

This Planner/Scheduler works within the PMO on Thales’ AJISS Program, covering Arctic Offshore Patrol Ships and Joint Support Ships. The position develops predictable schedules across engineering, project, and functional stakeholders. Strong planning, communication, and analytical skills are central to the work.

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules in Primavera P6
• Translate engineering scope into WBS, activities, logic, and milestones
• Facilitate planning workshops with project stakeholders
• Establish baselines and support formal change control
• Analyze critical paths, risks, progress, and schedule variance

• Minimum four years’ experience in planning roles
• Undergraduate qualifications in Business, Engineering, or Project Management
• Competent Primavera P6 user with planning best-practice knowledge
• Communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Eligibility for Canadian security and controlled-goods authorization
