Engineering students’ work needs careful grading for ELG
5191 at the University of Ottawa. This in-person Corrector assignment runs during the 2027 winter semester.
Located at the Main Campus, this Faculty of Engineering assignment concerns Optical Communications Systems, Section W. The successful candidate will mark, grade, calculate, and record student work for an expected enrolment of 50. The appointment runs from January 1 through April 30, 2027, for 65 total hours. One position is available, though hours and positions may vary with final enrolment.
Key Responsibilities:- Grade work submitted by Optical Communications Systems students
- Mark student assignments and course work
- Calculate grades from students’ work
- Record completed grades accurately
- Course or equivalent completion preferred
- Prerequisite completion with A or better preferred
- English-language work at the Main Campus
- In-person delivery is required
- Attend a TA workshop when necessary
