Apply mechanical engineering knowledge as a Corrector for Machine Design at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus, working in person.
This CUPE position supports MCG
3131 Section A during the 2027 Winter Semester. The corrector provides marking, grading, grade calculations, and grade records specified by the course supervisor. Strong subject knowledge, undergraduate mechanical course completion, and attention to detail are central to the work.
- Mark and grade Machine Design course work
- Calculate grades specified by the course supervisor
- Record grades accurately for course administration
- Perform duties from the negotiated work description
- Strong knowledge of the subject
- Successfully taking an undergraduate mechanical course
- Attention to detail
- Availability throughout the session
- Successful completion of mandatory legislated training
Support MCG
3131 students through careful grading, accurate records, and strong mechanical engineering subject knowledge throughout winter term.
