Municipal Infrastructure Project Coordinator

Coordinate municipal infrastructure projects using civil engineering expertise and technical review skills in a role supporting development applications and construction.

Working under the Planning Director and Civil Engineer, you will coordinate assigned projects from initiation through closeout. Your work includes development review, consultant coordination, inspections, procurement support, and contract administration. You will monitor budgets, schedules, documentation, deficiencies, and acceptance requirements while providing technical recommendations.

• Coordinate technical reviews of development and servicing applications
• Manage projects through design, procurement, construction, and closeout
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, developers, utilities, and agencies
• Monitor schedules, budgets, expenditures, commitments, and cost forecasts
• Prepare technical reports, recommendations, records, and project documentation

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering or related fields
• Five to eight years’ civil engineering experience
• CET eligibility, OACETT designation, or EIT registration with PEO
• Bilingual French and English communication skills
• Knowledge of municipal infrastructure and contract administration
