Spacecraft Avionics Electrical Intern

Apply electronics, circuit analysis, and lab instrumentation at Spaceium’s Ottawa facility while contributing to real spacecraft hardware. Build practical experience across mission systems.

As an Electrical Intern, you will work alongside Spaceium’s electrical engineering team on spacecraft systems. You will support schematic capture, PCB layout, harness design, and electronic board testing. The role also includes electrical integration, documentation, and collaboration with mechanical, software, and systems engineers.

• Support schematic capture and PCB layout for spacecraft avionics
• Assist with harness design, wiring, and electrical integration
• Help test and debug electronic boards and subsystems
• Perform power, signal integrity, and functional electrical tests
• Prepare documentation, reports, and design review materials

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Familiarity with electronics, circuit analysis, and lab instrumentation
• Exposure to Python, C, or C++ programming
• Physical presence required at the Ottawa facility
• Comfort with extended hours supporting critical milestones
