Position: Full-Time Gambling Education Coordinator
Join RGC as an Education and Prevention Coordinator in Ottawa, championing responsible gambling through educational outreach and community support. Help individuals understand gambling risks and available services.

This full-time position at the Responsible Gambling Council requires a dedicated approach to gambling education and community outreach. Engage with both players and their families, answer questions, and support informed decision-making regarding gambling.

Your role is crucial in promoting the Play Smart Centre Program and fostering positive play habits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raise awareness about Play Smart Centre offerings

• Interact with players in person and via phone

• Provide education on gambling risks and choices

• Deliver planning and executing educational initiatives

• Maintain accurate records of participant interactions

Requirements:

• Background in social work or health promotions

• Strong customer service skills with empathy

• Flexibility in working varied shift times

• Valid G Class Driver’s License required

• Ability to participate in heavy lifting tasks
