Position: Stage Manager for The Miser Production
Join Odyssey Theatre this summer as a Stage Manager for 'The Miser,' a classic comedy by Molière. You will manage rehearsal and performance logistics for a unique, artistic production.

This 9-week contract role is based in Ottawa, running from June 19 to August 20, 2023. Collaborate closely with award-winning director Andy Massingham and a talented cast of eight Equity actors. Responsibilities include overseeing the rehearsal period and coordinating movement, lighting, and sound in this imaginative staging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate rehearsal schedules and production logistics

• Manage stage setup, including lighting and sound

• Work closely with the director and cast during rehearsals

• Ensure smooth transitions during performances

• Uphold safety and inclusion standards on set

Requirements:

• Experience in stage management or related field

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

• Availability for the entire contract duration

• Passion for theatre and commitment to artistic excellence
